They hired me to help them with most of the planning as well as provide additional services. One of the main ones being – doing the flowers. Since I had just started the flower side of my business, this was a great opportunity. It was challenging as well as fun. I did all the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, altar arrangements, pew décor, cake topper and centerpieces. Whew! <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KIrA0m020L0/Sh8dKHlQ94I/AAAAAAAAAVo/D9cZzQM4MX8/s200/DSCN0045.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341019742755944322" />The centerpieces were arranged in silver mint julep cups. The pictures don’t do them justice. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a real good shot of the centerpiece by itself. We alternated each table with either white roses or lavender roses. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KIrA0m020L0/Sh8hfpZhpFI/AAAAAAAAAWg/QYBt1Pem6sw/s200/DSCN0039.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341024510657274962" />I rented the purple overlays for the guest tables, cake table and sweetheart table.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_KIrA0m020L0/Sh8cy3kzY7I/AAAAAAAAAVg/Fb5cE3fvNiE/s200/DSCN0027.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341019343322047410" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KIrA0m020L0/Sh8dlznR-lI/AAAAAAAAAVw/gJP9lBaHdw4/s200/DSCN0013.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341020218432027218" />Since the wedding party was meeting at the church to get ready, I provided personalized “Goodie Boxes” filled with grapes, cheese and crackers, chocolates, mints and water.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_KIrA0m020L0/Sh8d61Kn3fI/AAAAAAAAAV4/QBww3pkr-_I/s200/DSCN0014.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341020579625950706" />

The ceremony was very traditional. They had a very simple stage setup. The backdrop were black and white panels. I had purchased purple gossamer to drape the two center panels. They did a sand unity ceremony instead of the usual candles. My altar arrangements were placed on two columns placed on the left and right sides of the panels. <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_KIrA0m020L0/Sh8eXFTldQI/AAAAAAAAAWA/6cSs5-4OSy8/s200/DSCN0021.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341021064994845954" />The pew décor were purple hydrangeas in silver French buckets with lavender ribbon hanging down the sides. This was an idea I got from Martha Stewart Weddings.

The reception was held at the Manor Country Club in Rockville. Beautiful place. There was threat of rain, but it held off so photos could be taken outside as well as guests being able to enjoy the cocktail reception outside on the balcony.

We used the Adesso Polaroid photo albums for the guest books. We rented two Polaroid cameras and assigned a couple of people to take the pictures as guests arrived at the ceremony and reception. The guests then signed either above or underneath their picture. Makes a great memory book for years to come.

Millie loves to dance and she and Anthony pretty much danced the night away. After changing into street clothes, Millie and Anthony made a grand exit as guests tossed lavender (of course) rose petals from custom made paper rose petal cones that I made. A beautiful ending to a beautiful day.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_KIrA0m020L0/Sh8euXCtisI/AAAAAAAAAWI/JFfgGrXrl7I/s200/DSCN0005.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341021464892902082" />
